Stress is a normal reaction that we all experience often when changes occur. To ensure survival, our bodies were designed to activate an intricate hormonal cascade in response to stress. Cortisol is a hormone released to aid in survival in response to  stress.


When we are in a state of chronic stress, the effects of increased cortisol can be substantial. Thankfully there are many things we can do to decrease stress. There are also nutraceuticals we can take to remedy the negative impacts of stress.
